Egyptian Futurist Culture Artifact 001

Hello futurists, weird utopians, assorted mummified characters, culture vultures and wiseasses. This is the first music post of the Egyptian Futurist Culture Ministry. I hope to make this a regular dispensary of artifacts.

Thanks for paying attention,

There’s some body rockin, a little Monkey Chant (you might have seen in Baraka) and ends with some Italian travelogue jam. At least that’s what I’m calling. You mileage may vary.

from Discogs, “Büdi Siebert is a German multi-instumentalist, composer and producer, he plays reeds, flutes, percussion, keyboards and guitar. He has been active since the early 1970s, was a producer for Eigelstein Musikproduktion, and from 1998 to 2003 he was teacher for film music at the Filmakademie in Ludwigsburg.”

Budi Siebert is the nickname of Jörg-Peter Siebert and Gumbls, the musicians who accompany him on this strange folk, jazz album that dispenses a dose of the ethnic forgery concept that Can employed to great and playful effect.
